Great Siberian Dragon is a sizeable but sleek she-dragon with golden-brown eyes, large pointy ears, and covered from head to claw with sparkling scales of pure silver. She doesn't particularly like to give her wings exercise, and prefers to take a ride on the flying carpet instead. She keeps (or rather is kept by) a huge black cat called Blackthorne, whose origin and indestructible nature is a mystery but who is unquestionably a force of sheer villainy and evil.

In real life, I'm a Russian-born Australian who now lives in Melbourne and works as a graphic designer. My addictions include music, internet, movies, books, and playing Ultima of course. I also love travelling and so far have visited US, Japan, New Zealand, Egypt, Eastern Europe and Spain, with India a tentative destination for 2007. My love affair with Ultima series had started the day my Dad returned from his business trip to Moscow and brought a copy of Ultima VII - The Black Gate with him. Although back then I couldn't understand half of the plot because of my virtually non-existant English, I was completely captivated by the gaming experience and played non-stop with the English dictionary in hand. Ultima VII - Serpent Isle remains my favourite game of all time, and I loved Pagan despite its shortcomings (and those bloody flying platforms!!). As for the latest and final Ultima installment, Ascension... well, all I can say that the series went out with what barely deserved to be called a whimper.
